In 1996 Crescentera collaborated with the Temple of Understanding Board of Trustees to establish the Juliet Hollister Awards, which were named in honor of the Temple’s founder Juliet Hollister. These awards are in support and affirmation of individuals whose life work has advanced the highest interfaith ideals.

The awards were designed by world renowned artist Peter Max, and granted to:

1. Religious figures who bring interfaith values into the place of worship and the world through their work.
2. Secular figures who promote interfaith understanding through the arts, education, media, government, science, law and ecology.
 

Ceremonies

 
The ceremony took place on May 5, 1998 in the historic National City Bank Building (now Cipriani Wall Street) on 55 Wall Street, NYC, and benefited the Temple of Understanding.

Crescentera also produced the inaugurate ceremony which took place on December 16, 1996 in the Delegates Dining Room At The United Nations on the 4th floor of the iconic U.N. Headquarters in New York City.
